Land Surveyors Examination Preparatory Seminars

Twelve Week Series
January
24 thru April 11, 2001
This
seminar consists of twelve distinct lectures over a twelve week period,
covering topics which will likely be encountered in the
California
Land Surveyors Examination. Each lecture will be presented by a
professional currently practicing in the state.
Lectures
will be held on consecutive Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM beginning
January 24 and continuing through April 11, 2001

Option) at Cal Poly Pomona has had over 30 years experience in S. Africa,
Europe, Australia, and the USA.
Jay Satalich P.L.S.
Director of Surveying with Airborne 1. Has had extensive practical
experience with Caltrans and David Evans & Assoc. using GPS
technology.
Larry Gil 24 years
experience in Boundary Survey - will teach Boundary, Subdivision Map Act
and Land Surveyors Act.
James Lantry 24 years
experience - Currently a Party Chief with City of LA - Will teach Public
Lands and Legal Descriptions.

Format:
12 weekly
lectures 27th January through 14th April, the weekend prior to the LS
examination . A complete set of Course Notes is available.
Weekly homework and solutions included with the notes. Problem - related
software for the HP48 is available. Lectures will consist of both
lecture and problem solving.
